Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits

Sometimes making desserts can be as much fun as eating them! Today Mary and Carol decided to have some fun making fruit and yogurt parfaits. And they were great!

If you’d like to make your own parfaits simply follow the directions below:

6 ounces vanilla yogurt
4-6 strawberries, sliced
¼ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
¼ cup pecans, chopped

1. Layer 2 ounces of yogurt, 2-3 sliced strawberries, 1/8 cup blueberries and 1/8 cup pecans in a parfait glass.
2. Repeat this layering a second time. Top with remaining yogurt.
3. Garnish with a few chopped pecans and/or a strawberry if desired.
